There are many regular bus services from Kathmandu to Pokhara, so you will not have any problems if you prefer to travel by road. If you are coming from India, there are many entry points from where you can hire a bus for Pokhara and bus services are quite good.

Nepal is well connected by airways, the nearest airport is Tribhuval airport in Kathmandu. Tribhuvail has become the main International airport from where multiple flights from all over the fly into. You can land at the International airport in Kathmandu and take another domestic flight to Pokhara.
