How to reach Rishikesh?
Delhi is the main international airport where you will probably fly to. And then you can choose any way to go to your final destination. Just keep in mind that transportation in India take a long time due to its roads and traffic so you could check national flight to nearby airports that are really cheap. The schools could also offer a taxi transfer from the airport making it easier once again.
Visa to India
Don’t forget to apply for your visa online in advance (60 days) to be sure there is not any inconvenience. You will not be able to enter India without a accepted Visa. And there is not possibility to do “Visa on arrival”. The price will be around 80$ for the 60 days visa. If you would like to apply for a longer Visa you can go to the closer Indian Embassy and apply for 6 months or 1 year. Also check that your passport have a validity of at least 6 months.
